This week, Tyler walks through Amazing Students, Amazing Music, Wonder characters, Parent+, and Church Conference.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Amazing Students: From \u201cAll the Things\u201d to the Most-Used Things<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Student ministry isn\u2019t one-size-fits-all, and Amazing Students reflects that. Unlike XP3, it focuses on the tools and content you actually use most, making ministry simpler, more practical, and easier to lead week to week.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>What we learned\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">XP3 was robust and offered lots of options. However, when our team spoke with student pastors and examined usage patterns, one significant thing became apparent: almost no one was utilizing <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">everything<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Most churches were consistently using three main things: <\/span><b>Graphics packages, Small group content, and Media<\/b><\/p>\n<h3><b>Why we pruned (and what\u2019s growing next)<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Instead of trying to build all the things, we decided to prune on purpose. Pruning isn\u2019t about doing less forever; it\u2019s about doing the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">right<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> things first so the future growth is healthy and sustainable. So:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We doubled down on <\/span><b>graphics, small groups, and media<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> because that\u2019s what most churches actually use.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We intentionally <\/span><b>shortened the teaching script<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> because a large chunk of users weren\u2019t using it at all. Those who <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">do<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> use it told us they mostly adapt it as a starting point for their own talk.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Does that mean a full, more robust script will never come back? Not at all. Virtues will stay as a way to <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">describe<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> how the Holy Spirit is shaping us\u2026 not a box we force every story into<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We still love using virtues to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Help kids name and recognize Christlike character (e.g., \u201cDavid showed courage because he trusted God.\u201d)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Help parents measure growth (\u201cWhere do we see kindness, honesty, or perseverance growing in our kid\u2019s life?\u201d)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019re simply making sure <\/span><b>Bible \u2192 bottom line \u2192 virtue<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, not the other way around.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Wonder: More Ollie, More Friends, More Representation<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wonder is getting some beautiful updates, especially in the character space!<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Why add more characters?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kids see themselves in stories and characters. When we give them a diverse cast, we give them:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Multiple personalities and temperaments to relate to<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Different ways to process feelings, conflict, and questions<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On-ramps for quieter kids, more reserved kids, big-feeling kids, and everyone in between<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Think: <\/span><b>Winnie-the-Pooh-style quadrants<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
