We help you plan ahead through our 3-Year Plan called a\u00a0<em>Scope &amp; Cycle<\/em>\u00a0(released every three years) and a 1-Year Plan called a\u00a0<em>One-Year Scope\u00a0(<\/em>released every year).<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:heading {\"level\":3} --><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"h-what-s-a-scope-amp-cycle\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What&#8217;s a Scope &amp; Cycle?<\/h3>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>We use the words <a href=\"http:\/\/thinkorange.com\/plan\">Scope &amp; Cycle<\/a> to describe the roadmap we have for our curriculum.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Our\u00a0scope\u00a0is the comprehensive plan that prioritizes\u00a0<em>what<\/em>\u00a0you teach and\u00a0<em>when<\/em><\/strong>. It basically tells you what we\u2019re teaching now with our curriculum and what we\u2019re planning to teach in the future. It\u2019s the big-picture curriculum plan for XP3.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Our\u00a0cycle\u00a0<\/strong><strong>is the plan to recycle or revisit what you teach.<\/strong>\u00a0It\u2019s how we circle back to reinforce the topics we\u2019ve covered to make sure what we\u2019re teaching sticks effectively. It\u2019s the way we think about what\u2019s ahead for XP3.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>cycle<\/strong>\u00a0is really important because you can\u2019t make kids show up more consistently. You can\u2019t guarantee that they\u2019ll be with you each and every week. And you also can\u2019t make more hours in the week for yourself. You can\u2019t build in more time to reinforce what you\u2019re teaching to each and every student who may or may not be with you. But you\u00a0<em>can<\/em>\u00a0make the time you have matter more by recycling and reinforcing the things that matter most during the middle and high school phase.
